Best cup of decaf I've ever had. We need Philz in LA!

This place never disappoints. Made to order drip coffee that is rich and unique in flavor. The Mint Mojitos are a must try.

Nice! Each cup is hand dripped to order and things aren't overly sweetened to cover up the low coffee quality. It's pretty legit. Mint mojito is subtly addictive. Fresh mint, slightly sweet, totally delish!

Not only do I love this coffee place, BUT I do prefer this location above the rest. The staff here are ALWAYS so friendly and helpful. I've been to the other locations and maybe had bad luck with new staff. They couldn't handle my boyfriend's order of light cream and sugar. They ended up messing my order up twice. And I honestly would have taken the coffee however he made it. This place is SO great that we buy the $100 gift cards for $80 for ourselves. We take home bags to brew at home and I actually give out bags of Philz Coffee beans as gifts for my friends in San Diego and Chicago. The best part about getting your coffee here is they brew each cup individually. They also add cardamom to the Philharmonic, which we started doing at home. I highly recommend the Phil Harmonic, Ambrosia, Philtered Soul and Tesora.

Was at Philz last week. They still make great customized coffee, but they dont serve vegan doughnuts anymore.

So, philz does make the absolute, incomparably best cup of coffee you'll ever have. - when they get it right. That being said, they tend to forget whether or not you want sugar so you end up with a cup of sugar coffee when you ask for no sugar. Also, the line outside is Always up the street so you can expect to stand in like for at least 15 minutes. That being said however, when you what you order and you accompany it with a lox bagel from the sandwich stand, it's Sunday morning heaven. I didn't believe it at first, but It really is amazing.

Greatly enjoyed my Turkish coffee, though I was hoping for it to be done the traditional way, in a mini cappuccino cup with the dregs left to settle at the bottom of the cup. Still delicious, nonetheless! One downside - wifi is horrendously slow. Or perhaps it was just being fickle on this one day. Will return to find out :)

For people who are Starbucks freaks, they have definitely never tried Philz coffee. You can taste the difference and there is a big difference. The coffee at Philz is creamier and its a calm place to study. The pricing there isn't too pricy and its pretty decent considering other coffee prices around the Bay Area. They are willing to hook it up if you bring your own container and you only pay for the price of a small coffee. Anyone who's coming to Philz for the first time, I recommend the mint mojito ice coffee or the ecstatic ice coffee. Once you try Philz you can't go back

I've been to another Philz now, and this one does not disappoint! Seating is very limited in the main area, but fortunately they have additional seating next door. There is even a deli there! I got the mocha tesora again, and it was very good. Hand crafted at its best.

Philz coffee never fails whatever the weather may be. I got Philharmonic last time and it was a bit too bitter for me. So I got on the bandwagon and ordered an iced mint mojito. Wow. I understand why everybody goes crazy for this drink. The mint mojito adds sweetness to the flavor yet you can still taste the bitterness of the coffee. Even though it was raining and cold outside, I never thought "omg I'm so cold" but rather "omg this is good."

Mint Mojito Iced Coffee- was definitely the best coffee ever. I am not a coffee drinker, so I often stick to my chai latte, BUT, this one is soo deliciously addicting that it'll be silly to pass by the chance! The service was awesome, all the baristas are attentive and great! I tried their chai tea, and I have to say that I've been used to getting the Chai latte that I totally forgot that the tea with cream and sugar taste differently. Lesson learned: Need to read the menu carefully, but I was just too excited to try what other delicious drinks this place can give me!

The more I drink, the more obsessed I am with this amazing coffeeshop. One taste of the Iced Mint Mojito and I was officially at their mercy. They make such amazing, tasty coffees that I can't go anywhere else now (I noticed that the coffees I used to drink at bagel shops were the nastiest coffee drinks I had ever tasted after my palate adjusted to Philz!) My husband and I are also in love with their dark roast Jacob's Wonderbar Brew. And the manager, Sammy, is the best!!! Super friendly and fast service with a smile! The other day, I struck up a conversation with someone else who also made a detour to come here for their amazing coffee before heading to the brunch place we both ended up at. Yep, I'm so addicted, I go out of my way to come here, even before brunch. Sigh.

I love PH_ LZ! (Do you want to buy a vowel?) I love the location. I love their bagel sandwiches. I love the Mocha Tesora. I love the first sip of coffee because of the perfect temperature. I love every single staff who works here. What more can I say? I love Philz. :)

I've heard all the rage, all the fame and all the glory: the mint mojito. Let's keep this simple... I find it weird that they had a small and large option but no medium...a medium would have been perfect! Anyway, I'd of course pay a little extra for the bigger option and got myself a $5 coffee ;)...a large was unfortunately a little too large for me! I got it sweet and creamy. They have a minty option too. Once you get past all the froth, you get a delicious minty and iced coffee. Is it even possible that once the ice melts and dilutes the coffee, it became even stronger and more delicious?? Well it did. End of story.

I tried this place wondering if it was worth the hype - and bottom line: IT IS. Came here about 1PM on a Wednesday, and yay, NO LINE! I was quite overwhelmed by the selection of coffee - i didn't know what to try - thank got for Yelp for helping me make a decision. Iced Mojito Mint Coffee - my absolute FAVORITE. It was very sweet, creamy with just a hint of mint. $3 for a medium sized drink - not bad at all! What i like about this location is there is another area where you can sit down, go on your laptop and/or read a book. So convenient - plenty of tables to sit at. I'm a fan!

I love Philz. Greater Alarm is my favorite! Great place to go in SF when you want coffee without attitude. They have a huge variety of options and so far, I've enjoyed everything I've gotten.

Get a tesora in the morning with a beef sambusa for breakfast. Order a mint mojito in the afternoon, when you're about to crash. Thank me later. Best coffee in SF!

Wow game changer for coffee. You'll pay a decent price but it is for quality. The mojito coffee is amazing. You think mint and coffee ummmm that's strange but no that isn't strange it is amazing. Next time I visit I'll be back for some more coffee. Wish they had it in SoCal

All you need to do when ordering coffee here is be yourself, period. Tell those brilliant baristas your likes and dislikes, and I ensure you they will take care of you. Was at this famous coffee shop last month for NYE and I could possibly say that I will come back whenever I'm in the Bay Area. I love love the fact the the barista {forgot what her name was} was very friendly, very patient with me {lol} and very informative. The selections are amazing here! Weather you're a medium roast person or a bold lover, they got you. They even have pastries for you to pair your coffee with at the checkout counter. Philz Coffee offers way beyond my expectations as a coffee shop. There's no reason why I wouldn't give them 5 stars rating!

Friendly and fast service. I've heard a ton of good things about their creamy & sweetened mint mojito. It certainly lived up to its name, but was on the heavier side for me since I don't drink coffee regularly. I would recommend.

I LOOOOVE Philz Coffee! I drink it almost everyday at work! The workers are nice and they try to be as quick as possible. At first i was like "EHHH its so over rated" but more and more I started drinking the more and more I was hooked! Philz is one of my favorite places to go in SF.

Loyal. Brand freaking loyal. This city is expensive and time is constantly at a premium. Speaking of, I got rid of the car and totally manipulate friends to take me here. Coffee is *awesome* - why? - cuz hard working freaking real people care if I want it a tad bit more "sweet and creamy". Thanks to people like Kelia and Dane.

Been all over the world and met all kinds of girls and asked them out to coffee, but no one and no where has matched the taste of Philz Tantalizing Turkish. Top 3 reasons I moved back to the Bay Area: Philz, weather, Philz. Got that?

TWO WORDS: MINT MOJITO all the baristas are super friendly and always check how you would like your drink prepared. they even tell you to take a sip just to make sure you like it. sweet, creamy, frothy, you name it! What did we do before Philz?! a great chain for coffee

This was my first time trying a mint mojito at Philz Coffee. I wish I discovered this earlier because it's REALLY good. Can't go wrong with it. :) It tastes refreshing on a sunny day, and you feel so cool walking down the street with a Philz in hand. haha I paid $4 for a small mint mojito. Plentiful "paid metered parking" along the streets right out front.

I love philz coffee...BUT...yes, there's a huge BUT here. There is a such a difference between the morning crew and the night crew when it comes to friendliness. The morning crew? A++ Always friendly, awesome, asking if your drink is alright...smiling, efficient. The night crew? D. Angry, looks like they hate their job...unfriendly...not so kind. The coffee is all around great from location to location. That's the magic of philz. Parking is horrible in this neck of the woods...but I've never had an issue finding one somewhere. 4 stars.

I am a loyal Blue Bottle Coffee fan, but i have got to say this place has won me over. I came here for the first time after hearing so many good things about this place. I opted for the Philtered Soul. It was great! Service is excellent and they have you try your drink right when they give it to you so that they can make any adjustments. Love Love everything about this place. Service, selection, and atmosphere. I will be back for sure!!!!
